Exp: 1 – 3 years Location: Chennai The ideal candidate should be: • An excellent communicator and have a strong background in the structure and use of the English language • Able to work independently to research and understand the product • Very organized, meticulous, and pay attention to detail • Able to write and edit technically accurate, grammatically flawless information for online and printed distribution • Very familiar with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Familiar with documentation tools to create project plans • Able to deliver on time and work under deadline pressure • Able to work across teams and be a team player • Comfortable liaising with project leads • Able to set priorities and escalate issues appropriately • Passionate about learning and writing about new products and technologies • Familiar with scientific notation and engineering terminology Job Description The technical writer is responsible for: • Authoring all manuals, guides, installation notes, read me files, and release notes for all product releases. • Creating the strategy for and managing the quality of documentation produced at account level – Proposals, Case Studies, Requirements, Functional Design, Technical Design, User Manual/Guide, designing and writing presentations, online help etc. • Interacting with project managers to understand documentation needs and concerns around documentation • Interacting with clients about documentation concerns • Being involved in documentation reviews, creation of critical documents, management and updating of documentation templates in co-ordination with team • Working closely with the development engineers to understand the software and craft the appropriate description • Certifying that all product features are well documented Interested candidate kindly mail across your profile to gayathiri@faveovinci.com with the following details: Current Job Designation: Current Company: Contact details: Current CTC: Expected CTC: Notice Period: Note: Include the exact job title in the subject line of your mail with the reference code.
